Gear Up the Gang

We're thirteen seven-year-olds and four volunteer coaches out of the Ellisville Athletic Association. This spring we want every Outlaw in a real uniform, with the gear to play the game right — without putting the whole bill on our families.

A custom jersey and stitched hat for all 13 Outlaws (about $90 a player).

Two full youth sets — helmet, chest protector, shin guards — so nobody's waiting to gear up.

An embroidered bat backpack with every Outlaw's name and number.

Practice balls, tees, and nets, a team banner for the fence, and help with tournament fees.

The plan: about half from local business partners, half from the Hit-a-Thon. We'll post what we bought and what it cost right here at the end of the season.

The Outlaw Hit-a-Thon

Like the Derby, but for real. Family and friends pledge on how far their Outlaw can hit it. Goal: $100 per Outlaw — that's $1,300 for the gang.

Round Up Pledges

Ask grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors to pledge per foot of your Outlaw's longest hit — or a flat amount. Pledgers can set a max, so no surprise bills.

Hit Day

Every Outlaw gets 10 swings at a spring practice. We measure his longest hit with a real tape. Date goes out in GameChanger.

Do the Math

Pledge × feet. A quarter a foot on a 100-foot blast is $25. We send every pledger their total.

Every dollar goes straight to the goal above. Bragging rights for the longest hit are free.
